The institute's long gravel drive winds its way through the grounds, starting at the main gates and ending at the mansion-like main building by making a small loop around a fountain. Trees and lawns line the well-maintained driveway and the fountain at its end features lions, bears, and male and female children.

Lawns cover much of the Violet Institute's grounds, especially in the areas near buildings. Some are covered in daisy or clover patches. Some are uniformly green. Though all well-maintained, each is a unique variation in some tiny way.

Though tucked out of sight from most of the institute's buildings, it is a quick hike to get to the lake which is both large and deep. A jogging path just off the beach leads all the way around the lake. Two islands sit clustered at its center.

If you aren't on a lawn at the Violet Institute, you're probably in the woods and you're most likely lost. These forests hide the lake from view and endless paths lie amongst the trees, making it easy to lose your way if you wander in too far.

The Violet Institute sits upon twenty-five acres of land. The area surrounding the school's buildings and dormitories is made up of well-manicured lawns and fields. The rest of the institute's expansive property is covered in thick woodlands crisscrossed by endless dirt paths on which it is easy to get lost.
