Adoptive denmother of the Ursid dormitory, Lily, as well as her elephant daemon, Nadezhda, has become an institution at the Violet Institute by this point. She cares for its students deeply and has recruited a number over the past eight years, always keeping an eye out for daemoners who need help when she visits her parents in New York. Both friendly and maternal, she is a lover rather than a fighter and has become quite outgoing since breaking out of her shell as a teenager. She always makes sure everyone feels welcome, sometimes to the point where she is a bit of a doormat. If you have a character who needs a friend or a maternal figure, Lily is there for them. Nadezhda? Not so much. She is more of a watchdog than a nurturer.

Nadezhda is the one who is likely to make enemies out of this pair. She doesn't mean any harm, but she is blunt and that doesn't always win her friends. Additionally, though Lily strives to make friends, she does not handle people being angry at her well and thus it can be easy to upset her. Mean people cause her to stress and fret.

In Lillian's total of twelve years at the Violet Institute and four years at university, she has doubtlessly had relationships. She probably hasn't had many of them, but there were likely a few. She prefers to spend her time gardening or hanging out with friends rather than flirting or dating. She might go out for drinks with a woman or man she fancies on occasion, but true commitment to another person simply isn't something she's done in the past. Basically, she needs someone to come and break her out of her comfort zone. Flirting is also awesome as are crushes and such things.
